My journey into events didn't start in a corporate office — it started with a passion for hospitality, community, and the joy of gathering. Back in my university days, I fell in love with cooking. There was something incredibly fulfilling about fuelling people's happiest moments.
Naturally, that love evolved. I became the go-to person for catering, planning and coordinating gatherings for friends and family. But I didn't want to be a passionate hobbyist — I wanted to build a standard of excellence. So I pursued rigorous professional training, becoming a Certified Professional Event Planner in Nigeria.
As I mastered the logistics, my love for beautiful aesthetics kept calling. I didn't just want an event to run smoothly — I wanted it to look breathtaking. To bridge flawless organisation and stunning visuals, I became a Certified Professional Event Decorator and launched our signature design arm, Decor by Teeree.
